Changelog: October 2026

October was launch month. Here is what shipped, grouped by what it is for. Dates are when each change reached app.invoa.io.

#Getting paid

• Billing schedules for ongoing projects. Milestones, recurring instalments or both, from presets. Edit a pending milestone's label or detail in place, mark one "already billed" against an existing invoice, delete a schedule and start again. Every milestone invoice carries the full milestone list in its notes, so the customer sees deposit, progress and final in one place. (18 to 22 October)
• Automation time per company. Scheduled invoices and reminders go out at the hour you pick, default 9:30 am Malaysia time. Owners get a digest email each run. (22 October)
• Customer price lists. A price per customer or per group, applied when you pick the customer. (21 October)
• Documents are emailed as "Your Company via Invoa", with replies going to your own address, so customers see who is billing them. (22 October)

#Expenses and the bank

• Expenses. Upload supplier bills; the AI reads supplier, amount, date and tax, suggests a category and remembers it per supplier. Monthly reading allowance per plan, with top-ups. (18 October)
• Bank statement import and reconciliation. CSV or PDF, several statements at once, drag and drop. Suggestions from history, rules, bulk decisions, cancelling pairs, and an "ask my accountant" flag. (18 to 20 October)
• Profit and loss, cash flow and accountant exports. Accrual or cash basis. (18 October)
• Insights. Lost and lapsed quotations, top customers and suppliers, with payroll kept out of the supplier list. (21 October)

#Documents

• Delivery orders. Quotation to delivery order to invoice. (18 October)
• Proposal pages on every PDF template. (21 October)
• Classic template on the Telang palette. Ink on white, purple only for small cues. Payment details, notes and signature sit at the foot of the last page. (22 October)
• Web preview shows the real PDF, page by page, on desktop and phone. (18 October)
• Delete a draft from the editor. (22 October)

#Working with others

• Partner programme for accountants, company secretaries and tax agents, with Associate, Senior and Principal tiers. Partners set up client companies as admin. (18 to 21 October)
• Audit log shows who acted: the person, or which AI assistant or API key. (18 October)
• Find TIN by SSM number is the first field on a contact; accountants can look up TINs. (18 October)

#Claude and ChatGPT

• Invoa is in the ChatGPT plugin directory. Approved and published on 22 October. Claude connects through the same MCP server.
• Tools that issue, send or submit always go through approval inside Invoa.

#Sign-in and security

• Sign in with Google. (22 October)
• Two-factor authentication with an authenticator app and backup codes, in Settings → Account. (22 October)
• Security page at invoa.io/security: where data lives, backups and restore drills, what we do not yet have. Every deployment now runs a dependency audit; a critical advisory stops it. (22 October)

#The site

• Pricing review. Free sends (20 invoices a month, one person), Core runs the business (RM39, three people, bank, profit and loss, API), Pro scales (RM79, unlimited people, Insights). AI drafting on every plan. (18 to 21 October)
• Brand. Telang purple with gold, Plus Jakarta Sans, and the "v" as the accent. (18 to 21 October)
• Bahasa Malaysia landing and pricing pages, with a language switch in the footer. (22 October)
• Comparison pages against Bukku, SQL Account, AutoCount, Zoho Invoice and Financio, built only from each vendor's own published facts, dated, with an invitation to correct us. (22 October)
• Service Tax 6% for F&B, telecoms, parking, logistics, construction and rental. (18 October)

#Fixed

• Phone layouts across the site and an audit log page crash. (21 October)
• Thousands separators in amount inputs, live search in lists, converted quotations shown in green, contact tables that fit the screen. (22 October)
• The schedule builder's rows line up. (22 October)
